Los Andes

The Andes, name given by the mountains that surround it, is a valley nourished by the Aconcagua River, whose flow comes from the Aconcagua hill in Argentina. Loaded with history because of its colonial past, they make it one of the oldest places in the country and also for having been a point of intersection of cultures such as the Inca and the Mapuche.
Within the valley there is a very important national park called “La Campana”, home of a wide biodiversity. Inside the park we can appreciate unique varieties of palm trees and oak forests. The immaculate nature of this place has attracted many researchers, some very important, such as Charles Darwin, who visited the place in 1834.
